What’s Your Favorite Email Marketing Application? Aweber, Constant Contact, or something else?

Filed under: email marketing — admin @ 2:43 pm

I’m needing an email marketing application and am most familiar with aWeber. However, it seems like Constant Contact is more popular and I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has a strong opinion on these, or any other email marketing apps. What do you like best and why? Thanks!

We use constant contact for every e-mail campaign we promote and we love it!

Does anyone know of a software program that searches craigslist for emails adresses?

Filed under: list building software — admin @ 2:43 pm

I just saw some info on a product that you can use to build your database by searching places like craigslist for the email addresses of people who are under a certain category?

ie: craigslist category jobs wanted, if I want to quickly download a list of the email addresses for people looking for jobs in the Seattle area.

Thanks…

Don’t know if you can buy one (probably can somewhere) but try listing a job at elance or on craigslist for a computer programmer to just build a program for you to do it. If its a college student you could probably get one built at a cheap price - it gives them experience - and you a final product.

How do I use a Disposable Address to send a new Email?

Filed under: address email — admin @ 2:43 pm

I want to use a disposable email address (created in AddressGuard) to send an email. How do I add the disposable address to my list of useable email addresses available to me when I create a new message?

In yahoomail, go through all the steps to create a disposable e-mail address (picka base name, middle bit etc etc).

On the page where you chose which folder/filter you want to use, there is an option at the bottom which reads something like "allow emails to be sent from this address".

When you send a new email - be sure to select your disposable email address from the drop down menu above the "to" field.

So I have 2 email addresses on yahoo:

so before I got the talentsing email, I was using the khappyb one for my mailing list on freewebs. But now that I have the talentsing one I want that to come up when a site member gets a message from me. NOT the khappyb97. How do I change the adresses?

Server Rules and Double Opt-in Email list?

Filed under: email list bulk — admin @ 2:42 pm

My isp will not allow me to send no more then 500 emails per day. What is the best Dedicated Server Company that has lean rules when it comes to bulk email. I have proof that these are Double Opt-in (and that I bought the list from a Company) Also the list is what the company calls Spam free and fits all Laws. So who is the best Company to use, given that I plan to send the emails out myself.

One person askes me ''It would help to say what country your in for a question like that. If you were in the US anyone in the UK wouldn't know and vis versa.'' Not sure what he means, Im in the UK.

I have read the terms and conditions of one Dedicated server company, and they say that if you can provide proof of Opt-in, they will not Block your account. Well, I have proof. But Im still looking around for the best Dedicated sever that has lean rules. Any advise. Thanks.

You could always set up your own mail server, then you could send as many as you liked.

How to review and monitor personal email addresses being used from the home computer?

Filed under: addresses email — admin @ 2:42 pm

Windows XP is the operating system. I am aware of how to review the history. But how does one view the personal email addresses that have been used from the personal computer?

I am not sure what do you mean by personal email addresses.
But if you want to monitor what's happening on your PC while you are not around, you can just install a keylogger in your own pc.

It is *VERY* malicious. It will log everything from everyone's login information along with passwords and any other private data they type. The keyloggers can also take screenshots of current displayed screen after a predefined interval. But unless you are desperate, I won't recommend such a foul tactic to invade others' privacy.

If I have misinterpreted your question, keep in mind that I tried my best to understand (and answer) your half baked question

I need to build my contacts list for EVENT ORGANIZERS and TRADE SHOW EXHIBITORS?

Filed under: build a list — admin @ 2:42 pm

What is the best way in doing this please?
We have a small promotions business and would like expand into trade shows and events, suppying our UNCONVENTIONAL sevice for both.

Where do we find the best contacts and what is the best approach ?

Thanks in advance.
Thank you for all replies.

The best approach is to participate in a large tradeshow where you get the exhibitor list. Not only will you get the list but you will have the opportunity to visit with all these potential clients. You won't get the list unless you participate and pay an exhibitor fee. Remember it takes money to make money. That is very true!

How can I send an email to Yahoo about their new web page?

Filed under: email list usa — admin @ 2:42 pm

I want to compliment them on adding "smoking cessation" to their list of health topics on their new webpage. I was surprised to see that of 50 topics listed on their current page, smoking cessation isn't one of them! The reason I'm surprised is that smoking is the #1 preventable cause of death in the USA, killing more Americans each year than:

Suicide
Homicide
Fires
Car Crashes
Alcohol
and illegal Drugs

Combined!!!

When you see something like that, you wonder if the tobacco industry with their billions of dollars have some effect on the fact that Yahoo could address 50! health concerns and not mention tobacco! However, I'm pleased to see that it's been corrected on the new site.

I have a Master's Degree-I'm not stupid. But I tried for about 20 minutes to find a way to send an email to Yahoo, and I couldn't find a way. Please help. Chris

At the bottom of the new Yahoo main page, there's a section where it says," Send feedback on Yahoo's new home page." by clicking on it, you will be led to this page where you may write down your feedback. http://www.yahoo.com/r/fp

Need help with a personal Email database?

Filed under: email list database — admin @ 2:42 pm

Hi all!

I am self employed, and keep all my customer's email addresses in my computer to send out mailings. I am using Incredimail, and have put all my customers in a particular group. But now that I went to send the email…all the ones that I just put entered in my "customer" list…are merged with my "friends" group. There has got to be a better way for me to keep my clients emails all together so I can send out a mass mailing. Anyone know of a program that I can use that would be perfect for this???

I personally like Outlook because it's simple and easy to use. If you want a list of other e-mail database services try looking at this website http://articles.directorym.com/Search.html?MiniSearchText=e-mail+databases

Hope it help!
