I want to email thousands of my subscribers every month but ISP limitations means that I have to find a commercial software with its own email server so as to not to contravene ISP rules.

We need to collect all email addresses in our group. How do we do it?
We use our group to broadcast information to members of our community service organization. A number of subscribers are no longer active participants and we want to contact them. All I can find is the Members section. Do I need to click on each contact to get the full email address?

if you’re the owner, you’ll see to the right top while in the members list
Invite People | Remove | Ban | Download | Export
click download, you’ll get all the members addresses which you can paste to e-mail

Get XAMPP , it’s very easy to install and installs Apache, phpmyadmin, FTP, MySQL and a few more programs in one go. It’s freeware too.

A long time ago I set my email to be different from my id. I want to change it back to the original email address, in order to match my yahoo id. I have tried simply creating a extra mail address to go with this account but of course it says its taken. (its mine already). How can I switch back to using my original email address that matches my id?

You cannot change your ID name or address.
You can cancel the old account and open a new one with the desired information. However, if you used that name in an old account that is now closed, you can never use it again.
You can however open a new account with the name slightly changed.
For instance, instead of JoeDoe@***, use JoeD@***, or JoeDoe57@***,etc.

I’m subscribed to a political mailing list to which I’d like to be able to respond, not to the sender but to everyone on that list.

They are protecting the addresses for privacy issues, and to cut down on spam. There are numerous ways that this can be accomplished, but the main factor is that people CANNOT get the list. Would you want your email address to be given out to everybody on a large list, when you don’t have any idea who might be getting it?
