I am looking to email 8000 users on a daily basis, emailing them about every 2-3 days by deleting old users and importing new ones. I am looking for a good email marketing solution that would send emails to my users’ inbox and not mark them spam. I am looking for softwares only, or a good and cheap site thanks.
The best is aweber… they are simply great. Its only $20 a month, you can create unlimited email lists, you can set up unlimited auto responders, and set everything on auto and its click of a button easy.
They have a spam control generator which shows your a color coded spam setting of each email you send out, you simply have to tweak things that get labeled as spam before you send it out. There is not a better service out there… Check it out at
http://www.aweber.com/?282532
at the site they also have a free tour you can take and kinda test drive it. Trust me its worth the 19.99/ mnth fee..
Its makes your job so much easier.
then if you’d like you can sign up for my newsletter that I actually use this service with… the newsletter is free and it is about tips for internet martketing and website traffic buidling at

I’m thinking of builing a cheap RAID-5 NAS for my home network of two dekstops and two laptops. I want a NAS that works 24/7 and does not cost the Earth.
So far, the Buffalo Terrastation is at the top of my list. Any other suggestions?
I saw in Tom’s Hardware’s website, you can build a software RAID-5 array using XP. Is it worth taking that approach? I don’t think it will be any cheaper because you need a whole new PC just for that purpose. Please share your thoughts.
Here is a highly rated article from Digg "How to build an NAS in 1 hour" (see link).
On another note, I just bought a new montherboard for my system and it has serial ATA mirroring built in. Can’t get much easier than that, although not RAID 5. But for a $50 motherboard and a few cheap drives it is a great solution.

I am using my iPod touch to access facebook. Recently my friend used my iPod to check his facebook and his email address is stuck in the email box and so everytime I want to log in I have to delete his email address. Even after I log into my own account his address still stays in the email box. Is there a way for me to permanently remove his email from the email box??

I am interested in promoting my website and services to a very targeted niche market: screenwriters and amateurs who write screenplays. But I am having a hard time finding a mailing list or opt-in emailing list for this specific group to promote to. I have checked with some of the big mailing list companies but my niche is just that-a niche. I already promote my site through Google adwords but now want to send direct mail or email.
Does anyone have any suggestions for finding lists for such a small targeted group? Thanks.
I would check with some of the associations, like the Writer’s Guild and see if their list is available for purchase. Many times, associations and memberships will sell their lists to companies offering services.
You may also want to find out if they print any directories w/names and addresses. It’s more time consuming but you would need to data entry/scan in the list to create your prospect list.

Let me get this straight … you want to BE a spammer?
If that’s the case, you can find free bulk email lists at the bottom of the shark pool at the local aquarium. Be sure to wear a bacon Speedo.

They suddenly blocked my auctions; I can’t edit, list or cancel auctions and they won’t answer ANY of my emails/questions. Is it because I’m outside USA? Does it matter? Does anyone know?
No, I don’t KNOW why, but I’d GUESS that it’s because a huge amount of fraud originates outside of the USA, and no one in the USA can prosecute people from these countries. If you’re not under their legal jurisdiction, then they don’t feel that they need your business.
(You wouldn’t happen to be from NIGERIA, would you? Sorry..that was intended to be a joke.)

I have created the group for a committee I am in charge of. Within the committee there are different things you can volunteer for. I need some way to email only volunteers of Project A rather than the whole group.
