How trace an email address without having email headers?

I want to find someone’s IP address, but I have never had an email from him to find it through headers. Can someone tell me about a tool which finds the IP address of an email without having the headers?

There’s no one tool. I’m a private investigator and I can trace an email back to the sender, locate and identify them without the headers. I can also very often get an IP address from just an email address.
Its possible.
