My email reply is to an address different from the address the email is sent from. How do I change it?
The address emails are sent from is dorseyphyllis@yahoo.com;however when the reply button is used the address, dorseyfinancial is used.
You need to adjust the "reply to" setting.
Mail page>>options (top right)>>scroll to and click on "general preferences". At the top of that page—-(under Names and Emails)—erase anything showing on the "reply to" line.
That line MUST be left blank—IF—you want the replies coming back to the address that originally sent it.
Then click "save" at bottom of page.
Just in case you’re using the "New Mail".
Mail page>>options>>mail options>>accounts (side panel)>>add/edit an account>>Yahoo mail (side panel)>>edit>>general preferences—-and change it and save it.

Check your address book.
Both you addresses have the same first part, dorsey, but the 2nd bit in Financial begins with an F and that comes before P in the alphabet. The reply function may be using this criteria when you click it.
Maybe ‘dorseyfinancial’ has found its way into your address book and that is causing the confusion. Just delete it and it should be fine.

Press reply. Highlight address in To: box. Type in new email address (or insert from address book). It works every time.
