How do you send an email to lots of people without the addresses showing?

Filed under: addresses email — admin @ 10:41 am

If you want to send an email to lots of people but don't want them to see each others email addresses.

put the addresses in the "bcc" field instead of the "to" field. bcc stands for Blind Carbon Copy

depending on your email program you may be required to put at least one address in the "to" field. If that is the case, put your own email in there and everyone else in the bcc field

  2. Instead of putting the email addresses in the "To" line, put them in the "BCC" line.

No one can see the addresses written as a BCC.
