Can I reclaim the VAT on my Grade II listed building (energy efficiency) improvements costs & if so how?

Energy efficient work done ie complete rewire, condensor boiler fitted, installation of fully fitted kitchen with energy efficient appliance, internal front porch created plus enhanced period features to house (ie replacement of external doors and garden gates according to listed specification plus restoring/opening up of fireplaces in ALL 5 relevant rooms). Gardens made good to include improvements to drainage system as well as loft insulation and roof repairs.

Possibly - I'm in the process of claiming VAT back on fittings I have had done on a new build property. I know its not quite the same, but I wasnt expecting to be able to claim anything and it turms out I can. Call their advice line on 0845 0100 9000 and Im sure they will advise you.
