		<description>Copper (Cat5, 5e, 6) is fine for a one story building. If you're talking about a multistory building, then I would suggest a fiber backbone running up the same duct as all the electrical wiring, then into a switch on each floor where it's broken out into copper.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

Wireless is out of the question unless you have a heap of repeaters or wireless modems, throughout the house placed in line of sight with each other - but that would be  pain to setup and costly for a home job.

Now, I am no expert on what you can or cannot do with a heritage listed house but I reckon you could run some cables through the roof cavities or under the floor?
You could run the cable around the walls of the house but unless you did some sort of cable casing job (or the old sticky tape job haha) that would be a bit messy and a trip hazard.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
