I am creating a new email address, and I would like any emails sent to my old account to be automatically sent to this new account. How can I do this?
If you open an ALTERNATE account you will not lose anything - contacts, address list, saved mails, folders. Send an email to all your contacts with the new email address. If someone sends mail to the old e-mail address, it will go to the same Inbox so you don’t lose any messages. You do not need to inform anyone of the new address - there is a drop-down menu at the right in From: where you can choose which address to use for sending from either account.
* Click the link below to get an extra email address for your existing account. Use it just as you would for your primary address (which of course you can still use). You can send and receive email from either address from the same Inbox.

* To notify your contacts of the email change, click on Options > Mail Options > Accounts (left side), then click on Add or Edit. Go back and click on Mail again. Under Management, scroll down and click on Announce E-mail Address, compose a message, AND add your Contact List in the header (BCC). Click on Preview and Send.
* If you want to make your secondary email address as your primary address, you can click on Options > Mail Options > Account Information > Password again. Once in your account you will see E-mail Information. Click to designate which one you want as your primary, then click SAVE.

Hi. How would redirect emails from a certain email address to a new one.
What I mean is…I use Yahoo as my personal. I get business emails sent to my personal. How do I redirect the business emails to a completely different email address?
It depends on the program/provider that you use to get your business emails from. Usually there’s a setting or an option that allows you to forward all incoming mail to the email of your choice. I do that with all of my email accounts, so I know that you can, but it varies within programs.

I received an email in my spam folder that was from my email address but I did not send it to myself. As far as I know no one else has my password. What the heck is going on? How do I stop it? How do I find out who is doing this with my email address?
That is a trick spammers use to get you to open your mails. if you send mail to yourself, remember which ones they were, and do not open the others. Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valod one and they send you loads and loads more. You can not completely stop all spam, but you can help to put a big dent in it.
First, try not to open any of them, that only makes them send more and more to you.
Check mark them and click on ‘Spam,’ this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the ‘Options’ link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on ’spam’ in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in ‘Blocked Email Addresses,’ enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after ‘Add a blocked address’ and click on the ‘add’ button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.
Added detail:
Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in
*@ thedomainyouwanttoblock.com
for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*
Hope this helps
