How to verify a list of email addresses?
I have email addresses of my site’s users but most of them don’t work, how can I verify them before using of them.

There is no way with most email servers. You can only verify the domain and not the specific address. I would just send an email to everyone with a message that you are just verifying their address and no response is needed. Do not ask them to confirm since many people won’t. Any invalid addresses will be returned.

How do not display all email addresses when send email to group?

Filed under: addresses email — admin @ 10:46 pm

Have a number of email addresses in my contact group but do not want all of them displayed when sending the email out to the group — just the one receiving the email to be displayed.

Any address that you don’t want the others to know that they are receiving it must be placed in the BCC line

MAIL CLASSIC

Click on INSERT ADDRESSES which is located just above the TO line. Once your contact list comes up place a check mark in the BCC box to the left of the address you want there…..If it is a CATEGORY you want click on CATEGORIES and once those are displayed put a check mark in the BCC box and then click on INSERT ADDRESSES..
This list will also be brought up by clicking on the TO….CC ….SHOW BCC.

ALL NEW MAIL

There is no INSERT ADDRESSES so you must click on SHOW BCC which follows the TO line. This in turn brings up the BCC line. Click on BCC.
When the list comes up you will see where your CATEGORIES are inner mingled with the individual addresses. You will have to hilite those that you want in the BCC line by clicking on them and adding them one at a time. Hopefully, they are in a category, which makes it easier.

In either case above … if you pick a category…once that is inserted you can add individual addresses by putting a comma after the last one showing and after each one you add except for the last one.

If you find ALL NEW MAIL a little inconvenient you can switch to MAIL CLASSIC by clicking on options…One of those will be to go to Mail Classic

How do I send email messages to multiple email addresses and making it appear just "undisclosed recipients"?

Filed under: addresses email — admin @ 5:33 am

How do I send email messages using Microsoft Office Outlook to different email addresses all at the same time and just making appear in the "To" bar like it is sent to "undiscolsed recipients"?

Put all of your addresses in the BCC line and leave the TO line blank (which doesn’t affect anything). When the recipients open up your message UNDISCLOSED RECIPIENT will be in the TO line and the addresses will not be displayed for anyone.

How do I report yahoo email addresses that send me SPAM emails?

Filed under: addresses email — admin @ 7:57 pm

Whenever I post something on craigslist I receive anywhere from 5 to 30 spam emails about something my post has nothing to do with. Most of these emails come from a Yahoo email address. How do I get their email addresses cancelled?

Sorry, but spam is a fact of internet life. There is nothing yahoo will do about yahoo email addresses or addresses of any other email service. Best you can do is to SPAM those messages so they do not go in to your inbox. Craiglists is one of many sites that promote spam. chenging your email address usually does not help because sooner or later the spam starts again. There are so many ways to promote spam it would take too long to mention them here. Enter WHAT PROMOTES SPAM IN EMAILS in your web browser to bring up web sites that give you all the info you need.

Usually just clicking on SPAM when you receive the message will direct it to your SPAM FOLDER and any subsequent emails from this person will go there…if that doesn’t work try below….

If you are using yahoo classic OR all new mail…..
Go to "Options" It is above your email
Click on "Mail Options"(More options…if in All New Mail)
Click on SPAM
Enter the address you want to block
Click on “Add"…then go above and click on SAVE CHANGES.

On occasion the sender changes their name BEFORE @ so block that DOMAIN the following way…

If you are receiving several emails from the same domain, but various ID’s, the easiest way to stop them is to enter the domain into your "Blocked Addresses".

In Yahoo! mail, to block the senders domain (hotmail.com):
◘ Click on "Options, upper right corner of mail page".
◘ Then "Mail Options".
◘ Click on "Spam" from the list on the left.
◘ In the "Add a blocked address" box, enter the domain (only the part of the email address AFTER @, do not include @). Note: I have recently seen where you should have the @ included…try them both.
◘ Click the "Add" button.

Now, any email from that domain, no matter what ID is used to send it, will be blocked.

FINALLY…do not forget to click on SAVE CHANGES at the top of the page……

NOTE: there is a limit of 500 addresses in the Block Address box. There may come a time where you have to go in to this box and delete some.
+++++++++++++++++++++
In addition you can use your FILTERS to send them to trash.
…..click on OPTIONS…MAIL OPTIONS…go to the left side and click on FILTERS…once in click on CREATE OR EDIT FILTERS…then click on ADD…place the site in the box and click on ADD FILTERS..NOTE; this was the only way I could get rid of Yahoo!groups..
