I want to add a genuine email id of my friend to white list. His mails presently treated as bulk. What to do?

Genuine emails sent by my friend are going to bulk folder. I want to know how to add his email id to white list and have his emails put into my inbox. I am presently transferring them to inbox manually though I have included his name to my contact list.

Any one may like to guide me suitably.

if you used yahoo. just open the email, and click not spam.
or the easiest ways is to add your friends e mainl to your address book and it will be automatically arrive in your inbox.
