All "Contacts" from my Yahoo-email list get solicited w/o my consent. I become the "sender".Is this legal?

The other companies so far have been:
Yahoo Personals and Names Database.
My contacts will receive an e-mail showing my name and saying that I’m sending them an e-vite. So they open it and then they think I’m promoting the services. How do I stop this! It is sooooo aggravating. I may be losing friends because of this. How can I stop this from happening? How can this be done w/o my consent?

You have one of the newer viruses on your computer; it doesn’t actually harm your comp. but it uses it without your permission to do mass mailings. go to {ChaseandSam.com} they have a newsletter telling you how to remove it. Not all anti-viruses can recognize it as a virus.

  1. When you signed up for whatever you have signed up for…there is thing that comes up and it asks if you want to send invitations to all your friends…and usually does so with you telling it to….for example I know that hi5 and a few other databases do this…
