anyone know where I could get a reliable email mailing list? I need to get my hands on one?

Most email (and postal) mailing lists are purchased from vendors who compile those lists in the first place.

If you put a search in the Yahoo search bar you will bring up quite a few organisations who have mailing lists for sale.
