I dont see the problem with bowing to the king of saudi arabia, its simly a show of respect. Its not as if he’s handing over the american constitution.
I am actually happy to see Obama wanting to appease the Europeans(me), as they never really have. They only entered WW2 because Pearl harbour was bombed, and only entere WW1, because the Lusitania was sunk.
Yes, she is right about GREAT Britain bring USA’s greatest ally, but as much as i would like to agree with her letter, i find it, for the most part a letter of excuses to hate Obama, with the main reason for hating him, not shown in the letter at all… whatever that may be.

I agree with all but one of her points. It’s not a Judeo-Christian country. She makes herself look like an idiot since she’s obviously not read the documents herself. Okay two, visiting a mosque is an outreach who’s time has come.

It’s amazingly readable letter considering how many insulting non-content comments she adds in. Makes her look stupid.

However, she is chastising correctly in many spots. Obama is niave & idealistic, but doesn’t marry that with a gut common sense. He proved it during the election that so many of his contacts are crummy. Either he’s crummy or he has poor vetting judgement. I’m leaning toward that poor instinct.

He’s also making comments that aren’t accurate & speak for the country when the Congress hasn’t approved them. He made statements about Israel history — that Netunyahu had to correct. Obama’s version of history panders to those who would destroy Israel, instead of including strict accuracy (which is what this country stands for).

On a more sutble level, I’d say she’s got too much of a problem with Arabs or Muslims & it’s showing. Still she’s very right about the past history of the 20th century, & about Obama’s tendency to pander, & be ignorant that in INTERNATIONAL politics, those things can be weaknesses & have to be played much, much more carefully. This isn’t the rainbow club lunchroom. Just listening to the Iranian rulership talk — makes it obvious. (In a long speech they spent 3/4s on paranioa about the west & very little addressing their own people & their concerns. I’d prescribe medication if I had an option.)

A more indepth plus & minus look — and that’s too much for some people. Let the TDs collect. Bet they didn’t read past the first sentence. THAT’s what wrong with the world.

The only thing we can be glad of is that the author, who is not the person at the bottom of the letter, is not a history teacher. She thinks she will actually find proof of Christianity in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. And if she was a history teacher, she’d have to take her indignation all the way back to John Adams, who said when we were fighting the Barbary pirates that the US was not a Christian nation.

This is a typical rant from someone who feels threatened by people who don’t agree with him/her, especially when they have been elected by more than half the people in the country.
