Why have some email addresses been removed from my contact list? it happened when I upgraded Yahoo7?

One name in particular is Cindy Brown in Iowa USA

This will clean out all the stuff that slows your
browser down.
I do the quick one this way.
In the yahoo toolbar
click on
Tools/delete browser history/Delete
works for me,I have IE 8

  1. When you go to "Contacts" what does it say just to the right of the long column of names ? It should say "…### Contacts" If that is a different number than you had before, I would try to Restore Deleted Contacts,

    Below "Contacts", Select "View Contacts"
    Select "Deleted Contacts"
    Every name that appears should be selected, either by their name or a box (field).
    "Restore" or "Done", I do not know as I have never had any deleted contacts.

    If you are not able to find the contacts that way, I would do an "email search" and use either the name, or a subject matter that was discussed.

    If all else fails, check into your "Contacts" and see if you ever sent an email to several people (one of them being the missing person).
    If you look in your "Sent" folder, you might find an email yourself.

    This might take some real detective work.

    If necessary, contact another person that knows the person you need to contact. Have them email the person and have them email you back. Then you can add their email address when the index card has the green + (plus sign) after it. Just "Add to Contacts"
