How Do I Make EMAIL Lists?
Am creating lists within contacts. They show up with the people icon but when I go to email they do not show up. Also I have no "add category" button. Probably simple, right?
It should be simple, but nothing is simple with the reformatted Yahoo. Nothing. The Add Category button is right next to Add Contact above the new and "improved" contact list which tells us we have ### Contacts and lists them on the far left side. The Categories are very helpful, but they have also created problems within problems, where none existed before, that make adding our contacts to specific categories, down the list. Now it is a "One at a time" thing.
I cannot select more than 20 contacts at a time, so am prevented there.
The best way, so far, is to get to your address book.
Yahoo
Your own email page
Compose
Highlighted To, CC, or BCC selected
Address
Book pops up, in most of its former glory, although even when you drag it to full page, the layout cannot remain, so it is an every time thing.
Here are email addresses of Yahoo, to explain your problems.

Good luck.

CREATE A CATEGORY:
1. Click the Contacts tab to open your Yahoo Address Book.
2. Check the boxes (less than 100 to a group) next to the names you want in a group.
3. Click the Add to Category link which will open after you check the boxes. A list of Categories will open, or you can name your own in the box at the top.
4. Enter a title for the category in the box.
5. Click Done.
When you wish to send an email to a category:
1. After you click on Compose or Forward to open the Compose Page, click on TO and your address book will open on top of the page you are in.
2. Look above the list and click on the little blue Categories link to open your list of Categories. Check the box(s) next to the categories you wish to Send or Forward to.
3. To protect your friends security and privacy, enter the names you wish to hide in the Bcc field.
4. Go to the top of the list and click on "Insert Checked Contacts."
The address book will close and the Title of the group you selected will be in the field(s) you selected.
