Revolt in the States? A Call to Action
This is a critical call to action for all American patriots/Constitutionalists to launch an informational e-mail campaign to state legislators across the country, informing them about the globalist agenda / federal tyranny and urging them to stand up to the federal government and restore the United States Constitutional republic. Something big is brewing in the states, and they must stand up to the feds on our behalf before the nation collapses into a New World Order police state.
Find the state legislature e-mail lists at http://reformedapologian.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html in ready-to-go e-mail blocks. When you send your e-mail to the legislators in a particular state, I suggest posting all of the addresses into the blind carbon-copy (BCC) box. As I said not all of the addresses work, but most of them do. I’ve probably got a few retired legislators mixed in here, also, because I started these lists before many of the legislatures opened for their most recent session, but the list should be mostly current.

I hope there is a …
I hope there is a secessionist movement in the usa… it’ll just make the average american starve faster.
I hate to point this out but no state of the union is self-sufficient. You can boast, wave that big foam #1 and pretend fantasy is reality BUT each impoverished state is a parlous and needy nowhere that is entirely dependent on other states for supplies of food, fuel, water and workers.
Your country has collapsed and is begging the Saudis for money in secret talks.
Get over it.

I wouldn’t say it’s …
I wouldn’t say it’s the size of the federal government that is the problem. It’s the tyrannical nature of the last 4 presidencies and congresses. From Hw bush to clinton to bushJR and now obama - the constitution, freedom of speech and gun rights have been in the way - so these governments have been in the way. If we can’t fix the federal government - we will have to dissolve it.

Texas 10th amendment resolutions. Each worded a little different, but stronger. They basically tell the feds to get out. No draft, no mandates ect…
Although, I’m not sure how much good it’s doing because the texas legislature is lining up to take the federalization of the states bailout money.

Gandhi ousted the British Empire from India using passive resistance. It’s a battle of whits. Watch what the Fed does, not what they say. Impress State leaders to call Constitutional integrity on every Federal mandate. Haggle and bargain that you will not buy if the price is too high. This makes it possible to bring about a moratorium on much existing inequitable Federal legislation. The States do not have to accept any regulations that are not Federal powers in the Constitution.

It’ll be worth your time to do so. Dr. Baldwin is one of the few pastors in America today that is at least semi well-known and that is actually preaching a solid Biblical message about government, tyranny and the New World Order.

Marvel does lay …
Marvel does lay into Lincoln heavily. He raises all the points you’ve listed here. On the other hand, he also points out the positive results of Lincoln’s various decisions, although only begrudgingly.
When I read them, in Marvel I hear echoes of the Confederacy’s dream of individual rights but in Baldwin I hear echoes of Stalin’s railing against Churchill.
Maybe I’m mistaken, but that is what I hear.

No, I’m certainly …
No, I’m certainly not calling for secession, although I do believe that all states have the legal right to leave the Union that they voluntarily joined. If the police state develops into an extreme form of tyranny — and it will do so if it keeps going unopposed — then I may support states seceding in order to protect their citizens. But we should all want to preserve the Union, and this is about doing so and restoring federalism with a limited central government.
Comment by ReformedApologian — June 9, 2009 @ 10:16 pm
Actually, Dr. …
Actually, Dr. Baldwin is correct on his esment of Lincoln. Thomas DiLorenzo, writing on Lew Rockwell’s blog on 02/12/09, points out that Marvel apparently actually lays into Lincoln pretty heavily.
Lincoln didn’t intend to end slavery and he actually argued that whites were superior to blacks. He used his political powers to oppress those who challenged him. He invaded the southern states with no Constitutional authority and led to 600,000 Americans being killed.

Chuck Baldwin is an idiot. William Marvel discusses the same issues, stops short of demonizing Lincoln, and has much better primary source research supporting his thesis.
Just my two cents.

Thanks for reply; I agree with that definition. I would be alarmed only if someone argued for succession from the Union, and I know that is not your thesis here. Thanks for the video and call for practical action!
Grace to you.

You might want to …
You might want to read some articles which Chuck Baldwin has written about Abraham Lincoln. What we’ve been spoonfed in the government schools about Lincoln is actually lionized and revisionist history. Lincoln set a dangerous precedent for federal expansion and control and we are feeling the effects of it to this day.
