Need Software to List Computer Names on my Network?

Hi my name is alex, and im looking for a , hopefully, simple way or software that will show me all the computers on my network. Also i need this to be able to show me the computer names and/or ips of computers on home networks and larger networks, such that you would find in an office building. I have already searched the web but i cant seem to find anything, or maybe im not searching for the right thing.
