There are so many email marketing companies on the internet and it is difficult to choose which one to go for to promote affiliate products.

Is there anyone who has used one and can happily recommend?

I just got one from carrisamarsh30…she’s like those girls on MySpace that send pics of themselves laying around in their underwear, begging for people to join. Spam. DomainKeys certified or some such nonsense, but I wish those stupid kids would knock it off and grow up.

Ok. I want to build a workshop or laboratory where I can work on things in peace. I am either going to place it underground or on top of my garage. Can someone please give me a list of the materials I will need and a free software for me to design it. Thank you.

You can’t make a material list without making all the design decisions first. 1 Where will it be built, 2 How long, wide and tall, 3 Needs like electricity or plumbing, windows, Roof or ceiling type, What kind of work (metal, wood, chemical lab, etc) will you be doing in the workshop, What kind and how many tools will you use, What are the dimensions of material you will work on, How much "elbow" room will you need. How sturdy, chemical resistant, etc do the work surfaces need to be. Do you need power ventilation or dust collection. How big a door do you need to get stuff in and out. Will you need soundproofing, Will you need heat or ac, If on roof do you need an outside stairway.
Suggest you start with tool and workspace requirements and lay out a floor plan. Just put down the equipment in a drawing on a tablet. Then graph it out. Decide where you want it on your property, Then think about all the other requirement and design wall, window, doors, HVAC, electric outlets and lights, any plumbing and ceiling confiuration. Only then will you have a document that a materials list could be made from. Don’t forget to check with city or county building department to see about their requierments. They are friendly to home owners. I don’t suggest design software for a small project like this. There is a steep learning curve. Grid paper and pencils are cheap and easy.
What tools and skills do you possess. What tools will you need for each part of the project. What labor is realistic for you to do. What are you going to need help with. How can you access that help (friends, hired help)
How to books, online sites (google do it yourself) librarys, etc are sources for decision making.
Answer all these question and any more you can think of on a list on a tablet. You should then be able to design your project. Most building supply companies like Lowes or Home Depot will do a material list for you from your design. They are located at the Contractor Desk in the store. You might call them first to see if they have a person like this at a location near you. I bet they do. Good luck. How ever much work you think this will be. multiply what you think by five. Do not put much credence in someone telling you "it’s easy". Nothing in building is easy. I haven’t ever found an easy task in 40 years as a contractor. Anything is do-able. It’s just hard.

Hi. How would redirect emails from a certain email address to a new one.

What I mean is…I use Yahoo as my personal. I get business emails sent to my personal. How do I redirect the business emails to a completely different email address?

It depends on the program/provider that you use to get your business emails from. Usually there’s a setting or an option that allows you to forward all incoming mail to the email of your choice. I do that with all of my email accounts, so I know that you can, but it varies within programs.

I’m not sure if I’m wording this right. But I want to add an input field on my website to join a mailing list. I would imagine that the email address they input would then automatically get added to an outgoing email list. I’ve been using formmail and CGI to recieve data such as contact info or invoices to my email. Now I’d like to know if and how the mailing list is possible. Can anyone help or point me to a website that would have that info? Thank you very much!!

This is pretty simplistic, but it’s worked fine for mailing lists of a thousand names or so. I have a form that collects the visitor’s name and email address, and calls a simple Perl script (formmail is Perl, isn’t it?). I keep the email list as a DBM file, keyed by email address, and add the visitor thusly:
dbmopen(%MAILLIST, "$maillist", 0644) or die "cant open mail list: $!";
$MAILLIST{$formdata{’email’}} = $formdata{’name’};
dbmclose %MAILLIST;

I also send the visitor a confirming email with an opt-out link in the form ..remove.cgi?email=you@yours.net

Hi there!

Okay, there definitely are email lists that are sold to businesses to send spam/advertisement emails. You can add them to a block-list if you do not wish to receive any further emails from one particular sender.

Have a number of email addresses in my contact group but do not want all of them displayed when sending the email out to the group — just the one receiving the email to be displayed.

Any address that you don’t want the others to know that they are receiving it must be placed in the BCC line

MAIL CLASSIC

Click on INSERT ADDRESSES which is located just above the TO line. Once your contact list comes up place a check mark in the BCC box to the left of the address you want there…..If it is a CATEGORY you want click on CATEGORIES and once those are displayed put a check mark in the BCC box and then click on INSERT ADDRESSES..
This list will also be brought up by clicking on the TO….CC ….SHOW BCC.

ALL NEW MAIL

There is no INSERT ADDRESSES so you must click on SHOW BCC which follows the TO line. This in turn brings up the BCC line. Click on BCC.
When the list comes up you will see where your CATEGORIES are inner mingled with the individual addresses. You will have to hilite those that you want in the BCC line by clicking on them and adding them one at a time. Hopefully, they are in a category, which makes it easier.

In either case above … if you pick a category…once that is inserted you can add individual addresses by putting a comma after the last one showing and after each one you add except for the last one.

If you find ALL NEW MAIL a little inconvenient you can switch to MAIL CLASSIC by clicking on options…One of those will be to go to Mail Classic
